Jana Waterfall and Food
On 3rd day, we took bikes on hire from a dealer and straight away took the route to Jana waterfall. Our first bike ride in the hills. We were damn excited and couldn't wait to explore more.
Every turn on the route towards Jana waterfall was exciting us more and more. I had driven bike on ghats, but this experience was just giving me thrills. After driving for almost 13 kms, we reached at our destination. There were few dhabas. As it is a waterfall, we needed to climb the hill a bit, and then we reached at the waterfall. We didn't knew much about to do stuffs in Jana water fall, so we just left directly without taking any extra pair of clothes or even shorts. Let me tell everyone one thing, if you are going to Jana waterfall, kindly carry a pair of clothes as the waterfall is mesmerizing and will excite you to dive in straightaway. The water was so pure and clear that we couldn't hold ourselves and just jumped in the water. The dip just took away all the tiredness of 3 days and gave the refreshment and a very exciting for the start of the tour.
The water was falling from the height so it was hitting in the head. The water was icy cold and very pure. There was one lady at the tent nearby waterfall. Asked her to make tea for us and the combination of hot tea and the cold water was breathtaking. There were couple of other groups from Punjab and Delhi respectively. One group was having beer there, very bad choice as per the weather and the place. They were even littering, that made us sad. When we were leaving we tried to pickup the garbage, lady said she daily cleans up the place before closing for the day. I would request to all the visitors to please avoid littering the places you visit as a tourist. You are destroying the nature. If you even did then please clean up the place before leaving.
After the great experience of dip in cold water we got down and now we were dying with eat so stopped at a dhaba. There we had a local dish consisting of Roti(bread), Rajma saag (Kidney beans gravy) and red rice, this all i already had on our earlier visit to Manali. The dish also had siddu (One type of momo) with a chutey and pure ghee with local jaggery. We were full and the tired as well. So left the place and reached our hotel Journey Casa in Naggar where we were staying. The day well spent had come to end.
